As a Barclays Tax Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with a variety of Tax Authority Regulations, primarily ensuring the submission of tax returns and the payment of tax deposits in a timely accurate manner. What will you be doing Undertaking a range of complex and demanding technical processes often working to stringent regulatory deadlines Reviewing data and analyse to ensure the records are correct and in order for FATCA / CRS regulatory reporting purposes. Overseeing controls and adhere to the appropriate regulations of the specific tax jurisdiction Working alongside the wider business operations and key stakeholders (Investment Bank, Corporate Bank, Markets, Treasury and Private Bank) both in the UK and internationally Liaising with clients and internal stakeholders (either by letter, email or via relationship points) to gather relevant tax information, whilst maintaining a professional manner. Reviewing key data in report format for the regulators and highlight any concerns/ issues as they arise What were looking for: Good knowledge of Microsoft applications Adaptability to process/ regulatory changes and ability to prioritise workloads due to concurrent deadlines Proven experience in undertaking stakeholder engagement - via verbal or written correspondence Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail Skills that will help you in the role: Knowledge/ understanding of Risk Event & Issue management Prior experience with using the Corporate Banks computer systems (such as Customer Gateway, Siebel and SDS) would also be valuable.
