Job Description

Talent Co-ordinator£27,000 (6 Month FTC)Glasgow OR East KilbrideWork From HomeFull time, MonFri, 09:0017:00Reporting to Talent Acquisition LeadReed is currently working with a large and successful pharmaceutical/healthcare company, based in Glasgow and East Kilbride, who are looking for a new Talent Co-ordinator.The main purpose of the role is to work collaboratively with the HR team to recruit and secure top pharmaceutical staff. Using talent acquisition methods and seamless on-boarding, the Talent Co-ordinator will source for roles such as pharmacists, pharmacytechnicians, and assistants.Ideally, we are seeking an organised and proactive individual, with some previous professional experience in a recruitment, HR, talent acquisition, or a resourcing role.The main responsibilities of the role are:

  • Creating accurate and detailed job descriptions that clearly highlight capability and hiring requirements.
  • Drafting job adverts in line with correct candidate specifications.
  • Conduct candidate assessments and selection methods in line with best practice.
  • Shortlist candidates from CVs and applications, then co-ordinate appropriate feedback.
  • Upload job adverts and descriptions to applicant tracking system and job sites.
  • Ensure hiring managers are trained on how to use applicant tracking systems.
  • Liaise with hiring managers for interview scheduling and participate in assessments/interviews if necessary.
  • Ensure candidates have proof of eligibility to work in the UK and that documentation is certified.
  • Assist with on-boarding process by passing new start details to HR admin team.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • 1+ years experience in a recruitment, HR, talent acquisition, or resourcing role in a fast-paced commercial environment, securing talent across multiple role types and seniority levels (ideally in health industry).
  • Good working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • A sound understanding of recruitment tools and assessments.
  • A history of interacting with HR staff and hiring managers to understand talent requirements.
  • Management of independent work projects and assignments, with timely and accurate completion.
  • Experience in using applicant tracking systems.
  • A solid understanding of the complexities and difficulties in pharmaceutical/retail environments.
  • A pro-active approach to problem solving.
  • Outstanding verbal, numerical, and written communications skills.
  • Excellent organisation and time management ability.
  • A keen attention to detail.
