Job Description

Support WorkerLocation: Positions available throughout Glasgow and RenfrewshireSalary: £9.30 per hour + BenefitsContract: Full time and Part time positions availableWe are Aspire, we are recruiting, and we want you. We are an employee-owned award-winning social care provider, winning at the highly prestigious Scottish Care National Awards every year in the past decade.All of our efforts are focussed on helping the people we support to have the most fulfilling and self-directed lives possible.We help people develop their confidence and skills and to realise their potential.We are now recruiting for Support Workers in Glasgow, Renfrewshire and the surrounding areas to support continued growth within Aspire Housing and Personal Development.As our Support Worker you will be responsible for:

  • Assist with personal care - varying degrees.
  • Assist people with clinical and health care needs.
  • Prompt, assist and administer medication.
  • Provide tenancy support, including upkeep of home and financial assistance.
  • Provide physical and emotional wellbeing, including making and attending health and social care appointments and prepare meals.
  • Provide social support by attending and participating in social activities and clubs specific to the person.
  • Although no previous experience is required, it would be great if you had:
  • A full driving license.
  • A hardworking, flexible, motivated and driven mindset to do the right thing by the people that we support.
  • SVQ 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or a commitment to undertake a SVQ.
  • Registration with the Scottish Social Service Council (SSSC) or a commitment to become registered.
