Job Description

Supply Chain ManagerLocation: GlasgowSalary: DOECompany: A leading packaging and self-adhesive labels manufacturer.Role:

  • Working closely with the site executive team
  • Create and implement improvement initiatives and best practices across the supply chain to meet customer and business need
  • Work closely with all main functions of the business to ensure you are continually improving and constantly meeting the business objectives
  • Build strong relationships with our factories and suppliers, ensuring a continuous long term partnership
  • Working closely with the financial performance team
  • Ensuring the team plan the machines in the most efficient way possible
  • Identify improvement opportunities across the supply base, and work closely with procurement to identify and roll out any material savings opportunities
  • Have key responsibility managing staff, rolling outs strategy and creating and monitoring improvement plans to hit and improve KPIs
Requirements:
  • 4+ years relevant experience in a similar Supply Chain / Operations / Forecasting role working within a manufacturing company
  • Solid demand planning / forecasting / inventory management experience
  • SAP experience an advantage
  • Results driven, process oriented and strategic, with the ability to delegate as needed
  • Excellent communicator and relationship builder at all levels, both internally and externally - a natural people person with excellent negotiation skills
  • Highly organised and an excellent multi-tasker, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Positive outlook, a proactive approach, and a key team player
