Supply Chain EngineerGlasgowInitially 6 Months£31.50This is a fantastic opportunity for a Supply Chain Engineer to join a global defence organisation on one of their very exciting and important projects. The role will involve developing the Supply Support requirements and processes and the successful candidate will ideally have:Experience within the defence industryUnderstanding and experience of Warship design, build and support activitiesIdentifying continuous improvement opportunities to reduce costsWorking knowledge of Def Stan, JSP and in service support requirementsStrong influencing and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and suppliersResponsibilities such as:Aiding the development of the spares reportsDeveloping and implementing the supply support requirements to deliver the optimum solution to the customerWorking across the projects requirement sets, understanding each functions requirementsIdentifying packaging, handling , storage and transportation requirements relating to spare and support and test equipmentQualifications:Degree or HND/HNC or equivalent in an Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Electrical/Marine Engineering) Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in an engineering field.If you believe you fit all of the criteria above and are interested in learning more, then please apply with an up to date CV without delay.Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
