Supply Chain Advisor379 MonthsScotstoun, Glasgow£15.50 PAYE / £19.61 UMBAdvantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a prestigious manufacturing organisation operating within the defence sector to find a talented Supply Chain Advisor, ideally from defence or similar industry e.g. automotive, aerospaceIn this role, you will be a key figure in supporting the Contract Management Team in placement and delivery of Procurement Contracts for various shipping equipment, commodities, materials and complex systems.Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for undertaking activities which will support Contract Managers & Quality, Operations & Functional Systems Team as well as liaising and supporting external suppliers as necessary. * Coordinate and prepare data in support of negotiations/negotiation strategies* CDRL (Contract Data Requirements List) Management* Raise and/or approve TMRs (Technical Material Requisition)* Coordinate and prepare contract handover packs* Management of purchase orders* Expedite receipt of goods* Update QLA (Quarterly Look Ahead of negotiations/negotiation strategies)* Investigation and resolution of Non-Conformance and Defect & Deficiencies* Support the change process* Document Control* Monitor, collate and report KPIs, financial data and report risk & opportunitys* Prepare inputs to briefing packs and functional review papersKey Accountabilities for this role will include but be not restricted to:* Ensure governance processes are adhered to relating to Document Control activities* Ensure compliance with SC Processes relating to contract placement administration* Issue resolution, including evidence of escalation as required* Timely and accurate reporting, including but not limited to:o Progress reportingo Security / export complianceo CDRL performance (internal SLA and supplier)o KPIso CAMsThe person we are looking for will have:* Working knowledge of Windchill/Supplier Contract Application* Working knowledge of MRP/ERM Systems* Ability to produce/develop reports and other MI* Understanding of Key performance indicators* Ability to identify and prioritise risks and opportunities* Working knowledge Supply Chain Process and Governance practices* Working knowledge of Regulatory frameworks on Supply Chain practice (Import/Export, ITAR, Defence Procurement Regulations)* Proficient in the use of MS Office* Working towards CIPS/Equivalent* Working towards HND/HNC or Degree Qualification in Business or Engineering discipline or relevant working experience in Supply Chain (min 2years)* Experience of managing a range of services, commodities, or equipmentIf you match the above criteria, please apply directly or call for a further details quoting reference number 843097Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
