XYZ Rail has an exciting opportunity for a Sub Agent to join the team.Location: West GlasgowSalary: CompetitiveThis is challenging and exciting opportunity for a Sub Agent with demonstrable experience in assisting the Project Manager to manage all stages of the projects. Our vision is to be the preferred partner for our clients by achieving exceptional results forour customers, providing high quality customer service, by being a people orientated business, driven by our values to create a great place to work, and by earning a fair return on the value we deliver.About Us:We deliver design, construction, maintenance, and enhancement projects for both the rail and non-rail sectors, offering complete packages encompassing buildings and civils, structures, earthworks & geotechnical, lineside infrastructure, vegetation clearance,fencing, drainage and permanent way works.We also manage specialist industrial and commercial schemes such as multi-model distribution warehousing, office buildings, rail to road transport interchange depots and maintenance facilities. We also deliver groundworks and civils and install all typesof pavement including ALL Weather surfacing for racetracks, aircraft stands and aprons, wood storage facilities, lorry parks etc.We have a specialist fleet of Rail and Civils Plant and Equipment which as well as servicing our contracts and is available for External Hire.We provide Logistics and Storage (Including Major Incident Response) 24hr service individually bespoke for clients needs and requirements.Sub Agent - The Role:The purpose of this role is to manage all stages of the project plan and to implement correct processes to ensure that all work undertaken on is compliant with all safety, health & environmental legislation and in accordance with all Railway Group, NetworkRail and Stobart Rail & Civils Standards. You will develop positive relationships with all parties associated with the project and ensure that it is delivered on time, within budget and to the agreed quality whilst ensuring that client expectations regardingquality, programme and budget are wherever possible exceeded.Sub AgentYou:- Minimum 3 years supervisory experience in rail project work- Good understanding of the construction / railway industry- Planning/understanding and managing costs and budgets- Financial and commercial awareness with the ability to monitor and review budget controls- Understanding of business contract requirements- Health, safety, and environmental awareness- Understanding of client requirements and specification and timescales- Good knowledge of workforce management/workflow applications- Produce/manage and maintain work plans and resource profiles to ensure that works are delivered in a safe and expeditious manner- Understanding commercial processes and requirements- PTS- HNC/HND or above in Civil/P-way engineering or equivalent desiredWhat can you expectYou can expect a competitive salary and a package that includes car allowance, a great pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays and access to an Employee Assistance ProgrammeOur Core Values, known as the Three Cs: Creative; Considerate and Collaborative define who we are, how we do business, how we treat our people, clients and stakeholders and the beliefs by which we will guide our actions, set direction, and plan for ourfuture every day.We all have the potential to shape our world, at XYZ we are innovative and are continually developing creative solutions to real challenges. and we work together to solve problems that need to be solved.
