There are 3 full-time Fixed Term posts for 9 months available and you will work within the nursing and multi-professional team to ensure a high standard of care to both CCU and Cardiology patients. You will competently perform the necessary technical/invasive/physical aspects of care for this defined patient group. You will use your own initiative and act independently within the bounds of your existing knowledge and skills. You will demonstrates sound judgement in assessing the emotional and physical care of the patient in a patient centred way. It provides emergency, elective in-patient and out-patient services for the North East of Glasgow. The Medical Specialty wards at GRI offer an exciting, acute and varied experience of nursing. We have a number of permanent and fixed term Band 5 nursing posts, full-time and part-time available within the following general internal medicine wards with sub specialties beds in Respiratory, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, Acute Medical Receiving, Cardiology/Coronary Care Unit and Medical High Dependency Unit. There may be opportunity for some posts to provide rotation through all of the above areas, which will give successful candidates further support, your learning and development in each area This is supported by practice development staff.
