Job Description

.NET DeveloperRemote working (UK-wide)We are looking for a Senior.NET Developer to join our clients product development team who are responsible for delivering a digital cash management solution.As a part of the Development team, you will:

  • Design and develop solutions for household name corporates and bank partners
  • Be an effective advocate for the further integration and standardisation of Agile methodologies and techniques into the software delivery process
  • Be a part of a team developing Cloud based solutions
  • Contribute to design workshops, interpreting business analysis into working solutions
  • Join a product delivery team working to challenging deadlines
  • Interact with the Onsite/Offsite Development, Sales and Business Requirements teams to ensure reliable and continuously operating systems
  • Be an active part of the full development lifecycle
  • Take ownership & responsibility of the software solution through to live operation
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in software development as a developer. Ideally in a Full Stack Web Development Environment
  • C#.NET experience
  • Capable of looking beyond the basic functional requirements
  • Understanding of the basic non-functional requirements of production software
  • Understanding of database technology
  • Good experience of T-SQL on SQL Server 2014 and above
  • Understanding of queuing technologies e.g., RabbitMQ
  • Experience of Unit Testing
  • Experience of Design Responsibility
  • Experience of learning new technology
  • Good Understanding of design principals (SOLID, some form of larger scale software design, doesnt have to be a specific methodology but DDD would be good)
  • Good Understanding of Version Control
  • Good Understanding of basic web security (i.e., the OWASP top 10)
  • Understanding of the issues in Concurrent Programming
  • Able to demonstrate coding skills
  • Experience of Agile development methodologies and a strong agile thinker
  • Other skills beneficial but not essential
  • User Interface development and design
  • Good knowledge of SQL Server Performance tuning
  • Working experience with Bug Tracking systems
  • Working experience in the Financial sector
  • Net core
