-Solution / Technical Architect - .Net/AWS - Outside IR35-Remote Role - Occasional Site Travel-6 Month Initial Contract-Immediate StartSolution Architect required for a market-leading client in the midst of large and exciting period of growth and transformation, which has a heavy focus on driving new technology adoptions. My client are undertaking a rewrite of their legacy applications usingmodern development techniques and intend to adopt a microservices architecture, with services running in the cloud (AWS). They are now looking for a Solution Architect to lead the architectural design, as well as mentor the development teams in modern developmenttechniques, patterns and practices.You will Collaborate with various teams across the business to design and document application, network and data architecture using .Net Core in an AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment. You will also be involved in aligning architecture and ways of workingand evaluation ways to fast track the project. The successful candidate will mentor and peer review Developers within the team to increase their knowledge and understanding of microservices and modern development practices.Further accountabilities include; Documenting technical designs, processes and implementations; Reviewing code and providing feedback to improve code quality and be an advocate for industry best practices.An understanding of the Financial Services sector would be beneficial, although not essential, and you should come with experience of a wide range of projects and environments, ideally with a strong understanding of current technology trends.
