One of the UKs top Renewable Energy providers are looking for a couple of Software Engineers ideally with good experience using Java to join one of their core Agile Squads - Hybrid Working from Glasgow, strong tech environment and great culture.The organisation have been running successfully now for decades, theyre very stable and have a strong reputation in the technical community. The tech team are the forefront to the businesss success as they develop products that continually aim to improvethe quality of service for all.As of late, the company have heavily invested in Green Energy resources - and are seen as many, as one of the most advanced in their sector. Youll be involved in the development for many of these applications / services.Their technical function sits at roughly 30 strong, and its rich with experience - its a really great learning environment. Youll be working in one of their core Java squads, where youll be tasked to develop large-scale Cloud Applications with a host of modern technologies. Theyve got a busy pipeline of greenfield projects coming up this year and youll be encouraged to heavily help influence and shape these.Youll ideally have experience with the following;** Java (Java8+).** Spring / SpringBoot** Databases** Working in an Agile SettingThe following is highly desirable;** Cloud Services (Azure, AWS or GCP).** Microservices** DevOps toolsTheyre based in Glasgow City Centre and do operate a hybrid working model - so youll be expected onsite at least once a week.
