Job Description

Software Engineer - (Java, SpringBoot, Javascript, AWS) - Newcastle/Remote£40K - £70K plus benefits (remote work, flexible hours, Free Macbook, 25 days holiday + bank holidays)The RoleWhat you will be involved in working on Brownfield and Greenfield projects for a well-established Fintech companies. You will be working in cross-functional teams with their clients, supporting the delivery of their initiatives and contributing to design,development and the operations of internal applications. You will be expected to advocate best practices in software development, including XP (TDD), agility, DevOps and CI/CD.Skills Required:3+ years of commercial software Development with any of;

    • Java 8+
    • Spring/Spring Boot
    • Persistence Frameworks (Hibernate/Spring Data JPA/MyBatis)
    • SQL (Postgres/MySQL/DB2/SQL Server)
    • NoSQL (Bonus)
    • REST
    • Git
    • CI/CD familiarity (Jenkins/GitLab CI/Travis)
    • Agile (Scrum/Kanban)
    • Angular/React (Bonus)
