Their software ensures security with data and communications, payments and protects content (very relevant and interesting in light of recent events in the news!). The company have been operating successfully in Glasgow for just over 20 years now, and they are well respected in the tech community. They now have a global client base and build trusted securities software for billions of connected devices. The ideal candidate will have several years of programming experience ideally with C, C++ or Objective-C (bonus points if you have exposure to more than one!). The role will mainly involve developing two core flagships products for the company that have gathered a lot of attention world-wide. As the company specialise in software security you will be consistently researching and developing new techniques and features to the products to help prevent the ever-changing attacks within Software Hacking. Interest within doing this and strong problem-solving skills is crucial for this role and company. The project work is genuinely interesting and would provide opportunities to learn some really technical processes. You will gain exposure to processes such as a White hat hacking, reverse engineering and even cryptography - so any previous experience, whether this has been in a commercial environment, within academia, or as a hobby would be a big bonus.Your skills & Experience:** Strong knowledge of C++, C or Objective-C** Several years of commercial experience within a strong technical environment. ** Relevant Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Maths or something similar.Beneficial:** Understanding of compilers and the build toolchain** Experience with Python, Perl, UNIX or other scripting languages.** low-level programming /assembly language a real bonus** An interest/experience in security/ethical hacking/reverse engineering/cryptology.Their office is based in Glasgow city centre, walking distance from both Central Station and Queen Street.
