Good Dev Manager vacancies in Glasgow are hard to come by at the best of times.Sure, there are always some roles kicking about but a lot of them are pretty naff. Youll probably know someone who worked the same company in the past - one of those "run a mile if youre approached" kind of options.Im working exclusively with a company who are very, very different. First up, youll have the chance to start scaling a team up from scratch before their product officially launches later on this year. This means that youll be able to create the team you want and have a real say in the product direction from day one.Theyve got a massive amount of financial stability and backing for a start-up - something that a fair amount of larger companies in the market are unfortunately struggling with at the moment. The nicest thing about this role (in my opinion anyway) is that youll be working on a product that will be used in the healthcare industry - a real chance to give back to those who need it most and do a lot of good. Imagine how rewarding that would feel.Key things that youll need are:- Experience within their tech stack (primarily C/C++ & if youve got any Bluetooth experience that would be a huge bonus)- Youll need to have a strong understanding of medical device software standards too, specifically IEC62304 & ISO12485- Industry experience is an absolute must (healthcare/medical) There are a few additional things that youll need to have but we can have a chat about them if youre keen. Speaking of which, if youd like to find out more - drop me an application and we can chat through this role in a bit more depth.Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
