Job Description

Morgan Hunt are working with a leading public sector organisation based in Glasgow who require multiple software developers. You will help develop their applications whilst suggesting and implementing improvements to their application development process, such as continuous integration, automation of build, deploy and test etc.They are flexible on background, and are looking for solid software developers.Main responsibilities:

  • Development, maintenance, and support of key applications.
  • Technical documentation of key business applications.
  • Technical ownership of application requirements.
    • The role:
  • Microsoft .NET (C#)
  • SQL Server Development
  • ASP.Net MVC
  • Writing unit and integration tests
  • Continuous Integration, build and deployment automation
  • API development
  • Object-Oriented Design
  • SOLID development techniques and design patterns
  • Agile Methodologies
  • Relational database design
  • SQL Stored procedures
  • Unit Test Frameworks and Tools (Nunit, Moq, etc)
  • Version Control tools and workflows (GIT)
  • CI/CD pipelines within Azure Devops
    • Role Details:
  • 25 days (rising to 30 days after 2 years) + 10.5 public/ bank holidays
  • Generous public sector pension

  • Salary of £31,000- £36,800
