Job Description

Site Agent, Immediate Start, 7 months minimum contract, Rates DOE, Glasgow Your new company You will be working for one of Scotlands leading building services and construction who are passionate about quality and customer satisfaction. Their customer range includes occupied housing, residential homes and commercial builds involving public and private companies, local councils and government bodies. The residential housing division has been operating for over 40 years and are committed to the continuing success of their people and their brand.Due to growth and a demanding workload this has created and opening for a temporary Site Agent to join their team in Glasgow.Your new roleAs a Site Agent you will be reporting to the Project Manager, you will be a key member of the project team assisting to deliver all operational activities through to completion. You will have the opportunity to use your technical, project and people management skills to provide accurate programme information.Your tasks will include:

  • Run day to day standard site health and safety.
  • Manage subs on time to program and budget.
  • Record information for QS
  • Project Scope of works, removing replacing roof tiles / repointing and repairs to stone façade / mastic pointing windows / replacement of some windows / replace lead flashings / some render works to chimney and some minor landscaping works.
    • What you will need to succeedYou will come from a trades background and be able to evidence your ability to manage a multi-trade construction team and deliver projects on time; budget; safely and have a high expectation of customer satisfaction. You will have a CSCS Card, SMSTS or SSSTS Certificate. If you are Qualified to NVQ level 3 this would be an advantage but not essential.What youll get in returnYou will have the opportunity to work with a leading contractor based in the North East of Scotland.
