This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your retail skills whilst contributing to our cause of helping peoplein the local community, across the UK, and abroad.Retailing with a differenceHelping people in crisis begins at your local charity shop.Full of pre-loved clothing, accessories, gifts, and more, our 300 shops across the UK are home to over 6,500 volunteers and 700 paid staff. Were one big team that loves meeting people from all walks of life.As a shop assistant, you will work closely with the shop manager, shop staff and volunteers, and other Retail teams, to support customers and donors, as well as ensuring targets and objectives are successfully met. You will help present an excellent image ofthe British Red Cross, providing a brilliant experience and shopping environment for our customers.Working on the shop floor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, operate the till, and create eye-catching displays.
