Job Description

We are searching for a Service Transition Analyst to join a global organisation operating out of the UK. This organisation is currently operating as a top 5 business in their field and are currently expanding their team due to the growth and success of thebusiness. You will remain a key part of their future moving forwards and will have the opportunity to grow and develop as the organisation thrives. This role will be focused on managing a process to ensure a consistent, smooth process for landing project change activities into BAU / Operational service. Youll work closely with both technology and change stakeholders across the business. Enabling qualityassurance and service protection through a pre-agreed, governed set of Service Acceptance criteria.Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be the key point of contact within the Service Management department and will be working the full project lifecycle from initiation including early life support.
  • Providing design, transition management and assurance and you will build and maintain operational stakeholder engagement.
  • Managing a timeline view of all project activity and its current stage within the Service Transition process. Identifying and communicating any risks, holding delivery owners to account for agreed deliverables.
  • Ensure new/ changed services have a fully developed end to end support structure, including Processes, SLAs, KPIs, and a RACI, aligned with business requirements and priorities.
  • Represent the Service Operations team at all project meetings to define and implement service acceptance criteria for both new and changing services.
  • Ensure that any new 3rd party contracts contain an agreed support schedule which aligns with the proposed support model and is backed up with SLAs managed through regular service reviews.
Desirables:
  • Experienced working in an IT Service environment in a complex & diverse organisation.
  • Experienced working in a service environment where ITIL Service management principles and processes are implemented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate with technical / non-technical stakeholders if required.
  • Experience of creating and maintaining a project pan, with regular progress reports.
  • An understanding of the need for standards in IT and a proactive approach to learning and development.
  • Ideally ITIL Foundation as a minimum - V3 or V4
