ABOUT THE ROLEWe are looking for a smart, ambitious, experienced Service Engineer to join our team. You will be tech savvy and have a real can-do, hands-on attitude. You will be a massive team player and used to working in a fast paced and exciting atmosphere. If youare ready for the next stage of your career, then Prime Secure could be the place for you.You will be responsible for the servicing of our equipment throughout various sites across the region. You will be able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise workload and be able to access problems and create solutions as they arise.You will need to be very hands-on and have a can do’ attitude. You will be IT literate and be very much a people person. Experience is more important to us than formal qualifications, but you’ll need to demonstrate your ability to manage a busy and ever-changingworkload. You’ll need to have a flexible approach to working as sometimes weekends and overtime may be required.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide full system service visits as per instruction by the Head of Engineering
  • Carry out workshop and site-based repairs/maintenance on the fleet of CCTV/Biometric/Fire systems
  • Lead & carry out new equipment builds from depot
  • Supply back-up to their line manager and be available to carry out the necessary pre-install checks of systems and loading of equipment
  • Monitor company service delivery on Guard & Tech
  • Ensure key terms are upheld
  • Track fault requests
  • Gain resolution with clients.
SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Diagnose and instruct repairs & maintenance
  • Ensure the service schedule is up to date
  • System reconfigurations
  • Engage in training to ensure up to date knowledge of product
  • Always maintain and adhere to Health & Safety Regulations
  • Maintain a smart appearance and to always act in a professional manner
  • Carry out surveys to assist with installations
  • Identifying opportunities to up-sell additional equipment and liaise with Service Team
  • Provide clear and concise reports daily relating to the servicing and maintenance of the fleet
  • Be "on Rota" on a weekend according to defined rotas
  • Incident response on CCTV
  • Reconfiguration Surveys. Update Areas of Non-Coverage
  • Potential Upsell
  • Explain system limitations/ qualify client’s expectations.
