Job Description

RECRUITMENTiQ is working witha full-service car repair and maintenance facility located in Glasgow, to assist with their recruitment of an experiencedSenior Service Advisor.Our clients facilityis fully equipped to work on all makes and models of vehicles, providing services such as vehicle servicing and mechanical repairs, engine diagnostics, MOT testing, wheel alignments and car tuning.Together we arecurrently seeking a Senior Service Advisor to join the team. We are looking for someone who is friendly, focused, articulate, warm, and welcoming, enjoys working in a customer-facing role and has experience in customer service.The RoleYou will be responsible for handling customer requests for service/mot repairs, coordinating with the workshop so that work can be progressed in a timely and professional manner, preparing general invoicing, and dealing with cash. Responsible for maintainingcustomer records and ensuring that customer databases are kept current and accurate at all times.The work schedule is Monday through Friday with some weekend availability required.Skills and Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively listen to customer concerns and address them appropriately
  • Positive can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Possess the confidence to resolve any issues that may arise efficiently and have the ability to multi-task
  • A driving Licence is preferred
  • Upselling experience would be an advantage but is not a requirement
Responsibilities
  • Book in work in line with workshop capacity and customer requirements
  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Listen to customer concerns and record accurately for the workshop.
  • Prepare accurate estimates for labour and parts costs.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the service department’s workflow.
  • Communicate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Keep customers informed of the status of their vehicles.
  • Process payments and handle cash transactions
