Job Description

Payroll SpecialistGlasgowSalary circa £35kPertemps are working on behalf of a Global organisation who have a permanent requirement for a Payroll Specialist to join the team. The office is based in Glasgow but the position will be a hybrid role. Excellent salary and benefits on offer.You will manage and process data for payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis. Co-ordinate with HR, to ensure that the data is actioned in a swift and correct manner. Attention to details is key in this role as is the ability to work with others in a fast-pacedenvironment to ensure that an exceptionally high level of service and accuracy is provided throughout the business. Some of your key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring that payroll data is actioned in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for reconciling the payrolls to ensure accuracy of calculation and prepare the necessary documentation.
  • To ensure that all funding for payrolls, bank files and cost files are produced and actioned in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Responsible for third party payments and communication with the necessary partners to ensure timely payment.
  • Reconciliation for month end.
  • Preparation and submission to the finance system of the month end payroll journals.
  • Assist HR with any payroll queries that are raised.
  • Support other team members and provide cover for their payroll responsibilities as and when required.
  • To assist the team leader with testing of any payroll system changes that are applied.
  • To continually strive for ways to work in a smatter manner to ensure that the business continues to evolve.
  • Various general administration and reporting
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years payroll experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Excellent excel skills.
  • Excellent communications skills.
