Morgan Hunt has been engaged by a Public Sector organisation to recruit a Senior Operations Manager in Glasgow.This opportunity will require the successful individual to provide strategic leadership with a focus on driving customer service throughout its functions and leading the implementation and embedding of a formal customer service framework.Ideally you will have an operational background from either retail / hotel / airline industry OR large estates operation with strong team management skills.Job Purpose:This opportunity will require the successful individual to provide strategic leadership, management and high levels of customer service at all levels.Main Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Manage service teams in line with operational demands.Prepare, implement and, meet service delivery requirements and are within budgetary constraints.Lead on the continuous development and implementation of technical strategic and operational plans to meet business needs and objectives, in relation to facilities management, PPM maintenance delivery and waste management based on robust analysis.Manage risks and maintain business continuity plans to provide for reliability and resilience of all services.Knowledge, Qualifications:Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline, e.g. business or facilities management or significant professional experience within a similar complex environmentStrong evidence of continuing professional development relevant to the roleStrong technical knowledge of facilities management and operational support functionsStrong working knowledge of workplace health and safety legislationPassionate about customer service and consistently delivering excellence.Strong knowledge of budgetary managementSignificant senior leadership and management experience within a complex customer facing environmentExperience of leading the implementation and embedding of a formal customer service framework.Morgan Hunt is a multi-award-winning recruitment business for interim, contract and temporary recruitment and acts as an Employment Agency in relation to permanent vacancies.
