Infrastructure Project Manager required for a Global Manufacturing company in Glasgow, largely based from home (some office travel).The company:They are a global manufacturing company with roughly 5,000 employees. They have offices around the world and are established across 6 continents. They manufacture large-scale, industrial sized products and are market leaders in their niche field.You will be involved in a major project across the business to provide project and change management services for the IT projects including the integration of acquired businesses. You will need to project manage a number of IT projects, ensuring tight controlsare maintained through all aspects of the project lifecycle. This will also include the generation of project documentation such as a requirements definition, functional and technical specifications, project initiation and definition documents as well as progressreports.The role is largely home based, with occasional travel required to the Glasgow office and again, rarely international travel.The role:** To ensure that the project and change management methodology is adhered to throughout all aspects of the project.** To act as the interface between the company and acquired business, IT project teams, as well as to other departmental functions.** To support and assist in the delivery of change management plans identified to assist in stakeholder engagement and the successful deployment of the project.** To be responsible for the documentation of all aspects of the projects including functional designs and technical architecture.** To provide financial management of the project through budget management, forecasting and procurement, in line with global financial standards, processes and procedures.** To work with the global service desk to ensure appropriate support mechanisms and processes are in place to support the acquired businesses and new system implementations.You will need to:** Have experience delivering a range of Infrastructure and ideally integration projects** Have knowledge of a wide range of IT technologies such as active directory, networking, Unified Communications and voice/video services.** Skills in Microsoft products such as Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Visual Basic, Microsoft365** Be experienced in MS Projects** Champion change culture within a global business** Have experience with large projects encompassing multiple sites** Knowledge of HyperV, Dell Architecture, SSCM, Firewalls etc would be beneficialIf you are interested in this role, please apply or call Hamish at Cathcart Associates.
