Job Description

Senior Finance Business Partner - 6 months initially - Outside IR35 Our leading Public Sector client are looking to hire a Senior Finance Business Partner to join their Team.Essential Skills:

  • Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) qualification or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of business planning and budget monitoring
  • Experience of accounting and other software
  • Ability to provide accurate forecasting and financial analysis to support informed decision making
  • This opportunity is suited to anyone who has experience within a previous Financial Accounting or Management Accounting discipline and is knowledgeable in public or third sector annual accounting processes.
Main Duties
  • Production of monthly and annual account reports in line with regular monthly deadlines
  • Analysis of all financial transactions, current and historical and monitoring and management of the reserves
  • Assist in the development and delivery of financial strategy
  • Review the financial controls
  • Identify and consider emerging trends to support cashflow monitoring and forecast application
  • Interpreting monthly financial data to challenge forecasted budgets, investigate cash variances and identify and explain risks where appropriate
  • Provide relevant finance training and advice to team Collaborate regularly with Finance and colleagues on all financial matters
