Senior Electrical EngineerGlasgowJoin Our Clients Team as an Engineer / Senior Engineer - ElectricalCompany client isrecruiting for an Engineer / Senior Engineer - Electrical for our client, who are an engineering and design consultancy. This will be an Inside of IR35 Contract initially for a 12 month period, the role will be hybrid with two days per weekrequired on site in Glasgow.As a Senior Engineer - Electrical, you will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with one of our key clients in the Defence sector. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise in LV, MV, and HV/Power systems, collaborating withcross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of excellence.Key Objectives:* Provide technical expertise and guidance on electrical systems and designs.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective engineering solutions.* Conduct assessments and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and best practices.* Develop and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and documentation.* Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project delivery.* Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering.Required Qualifications & Experience:* Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or related field.* Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in critical infrastructure projects.* Professional engineering license (PE) preferred.* Expertise in LV, MV, and HV/Power systems.The nature of this opportunity means that you will be required to be Security Cleared prior to appointment so you must meet all the eligibility criteria to obtain UK Security Clearance.
