Job Description

About the company: The Company creates incredible, and comprehensive learning experiences for students. The company is well known for creating resources that help teachers by providing them with tools to help students learn and explore things in engaging and memorable ways.They are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. You will be entirely responsible for collaborating with our software development team and technical management to maintain and enhance our AWS infrastructure and software development services.Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Your primary role involves creating or improving efficient Monitoring & Logging services, for example, by utilizing Cloud Watch and other solutions.
  • You are required to ensure effective use of essential AWS services as needed, such as EC2, EBS, S3, and Elasticache
  • Use your expertise in application deployment, configuration management, and provisioning on an AWS infrastructure utilizing tools like Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm to mentor and guide the team.
  • Investigate and provide suitable methods and procedures to guarantee they have the best CI/CD service.
  • Development of Architecture & Software Utilizing AWS using text-to-speech services, database services, and AWS Lambda.
  • To foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellent site reliability, assist and mentor DevOps engineers.
  • Youll be responsible for Utilizing infrastructure architecture to ensure low operational risk and compliance with any security standards
Expectations & Requirements:
  • Should possess DevOps experience of at least 5 years, the majority of which was gained in an AWS environment
  • Quite an acquaintance of Kubernetes management for AWS (CloudFront, CloudWatch, EC2, EKS, IAM, RDS, S3, etc.)
  • Kubernetes administrator experience with building and delivering services using Helm For Python and NodeJS apps
  • With Jenkins, user administration, creation and maintenance of Jenkins jobs, configuration and update of Jenkins nodes, and authoring and maintenance of sophisticated Jenkins pipelines written in Groovy Linux are all required.
  • Management of permissions o Main distributions: Debian/Ubuntu
  • AWS Linux and CentOS
