Job Description

A great opportunity has become available for a Senior Contaminated Land/Geo Environmental professional to join a UK top 10 Consultancy in Glasgow. Suitable applicants will have a strong technical background in land quality assessment, preferably with in-depthknowledge of contaminated land risk assessment and sustainable remediation strategies.Requirements:

  • A relevant environmental/engineering degree. i.e. Geoscience, Environmental Chemistry, Geology
  • A masters degree in a related field
  • Commercial experience working with an Environmental/Engineering consultancy, specialising in contaminated land/geo environmental consultancy
  • A UK driving license
Typical duties:
  • Phase 1 and 2 site investigation project management, including site walkovers, and the associated report writing
  • Contaminated land risk assessments including DQRAs and GQRAs
  • Remediation appraisals and design
  • Mentoring junior staff
  • Stakeholder management and client liaison
