CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Cell Biologist to join an established Contract Research Organisation at their site based in Glasgow on a permanent basis.The Company:This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic company undergoing significant growth at the forefront of drug discovery.Location:This Senior Cell Biologist role is located on the outskirts of Glasgow.Senior Cell Biologist Role:Your main duties will be:-Use of cutting edge cell-based assay techniques to support assay development and lead discovery for client projects.-Responsibility for developing and performing cell-based assays to enhance the companys assay capabilities.-Supporting routine laboratory operations.-Presenting oral and written reports to internal and external clients.Your Background:The ideal candidate for this role will have/be:-Educated to PhD level with post-doctoral research experience in either academia or industry.-A thorough understanding of mammalian cell biology along with several years experience of analysing and interpreting cell based assays.-Beneficial attributes would include prior experience with ion channel, GPCR or other receptor classes, FACS and image analysis, plate-based assays, liquid handling automation and pharmacological analysis.-Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to independently complete complex tasks while working as part of a team as well as problem solving skills and the ability to analyse and interpret results.Benefits:A competitive benefits package is offered including an annual bonus scheme.Apply:For more information or to apply for this Senior Cell Biologist position, please contact Mary Bolt on or email , quoting job ref 52641.It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
