Job Description

Vacancy: Senior Business Support AdministratorLocation: GlasgowSalary: £19,776 - £20,328Working hours: Monday - Friday 9-5 (flexible)Are you looking for a new role Are you available for an interview immediatelyOur client is looking for a Senior Business Support Administrator to join their team. They are looking for someone who has a positive, hard working attitude and is willing to come in and make this role their own.The Role -

  • Answering the telephone in a sensitive and understanding manner and directing calls as appropriate
  • Taking and passing on accurate messages to the relevant staff member or volunteer
  • Dealing with enquiries and/or passing them on, as appropriate to duty worker
  • Managing the organisational Enquiry email
  • Managing mail - incoming and outgoing
  • Making arrangements for events such as Annual General Meetings including preparing necessary paperwork and arranging hospitality as required
  • Providing initial technical support to staff to address IT/Communication problems
  • Liaise with external IT and Telecommunication Provider
  • Support staff in accessing organisational information
  • Production of reports and statistics, based on information entered to databases
  • Maintain copier/printer supplies and franking machine upgrades
  • Ensuring stationery supplies are ordered as appropriate
  • Ensure that Business Support creates an office environment that meets organisational needs
  • The candidate -
  • Experience with database systems
  • Have IT skills
  • Have knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Be Able to work under pressure with a degree of autonomy
  • Have the ability to coach and support colleagues with IT and communication
