Job Description

Our client who is based within the higher education sector, have a temporary role for a Senior Administrator. This role will be mostly be homeworking, however there would be times for the need to attend the barbering academy which is based at Tradeston,Glasgow. This is Monday to Friday role (35 hours per week). The rate of pay will be £13.77 per hour.Candidates must have a PVG certificate working with children to be considered for this role.Duties:

  • Ongoing management of current students
  • Act as the first point of contact for customer, stakeholder and partner enquiries
  • Provide direct advice to customers with regards to course availability, suitability of training to their needs and any other relevant customer advice
  • Ensure that all course enquiries and bookings are processed and responded to appropriately
  • Co-ordinate the setup, enrolment, room and staff booking, invigilation and setting up exams with help from colleagues on this
  • Liaise directly with relevant awarding bodies to ensure course compliance and to resolve any course/customer issues
  • Monitor the commercial website pages; working with marketing to apply changes and contribute to the continual improvement of the commercial web/digital marketing presence to support the commercial portfolio
  • Support the operation of the made barbering academy including handling enquiries, bookings, course set up, social media promotion and forward planning of the venture
  • Act as point of contact for made student enquiries, managing the resolution of enquiries as directed by the head of commercial
  • Support business development unit (especially commercial) events as required
  • Assist with the preparation of management information reports
Skills:
  • Would maybe suit someone graduated from marketing or business degree
  • Time management, ability to prioritise.
  • A variety and proficient use of Microsoft Office packages
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision; Use initiative
  • Ability to maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.
