Job Description

Security Installation & Service Engineer - Up to £30KThe Role:Alecto Recruitment are currently representing a reputable SSAIB accredited security systems company in their search for an experienced security engineer.This role is a field base role providing engineering support to the project manager. Responsibilitieswill include commissioning, installation, service & maintenance of electronic security systems,predominantly CCTV with some Access Control, Intruder, Fire and EAS for retail and commercialclients.An excellent opportunity to join a growing company that will present possible career progression.The applicant must be client focussed and be willing to deliver great customer service.Location:Head office is based in Oldham, England and the company cover all of the UK, however the successful candidate will come in to cover Scotland. Working area will be all over Scotland however most of the work is in Glasgow and Edinburgh areas.How frequent would you need to visit the officeThere isnt a regular requirement for engineers to visit the office except for specific reasons such as training.Required Product Knowledge:Primarily Hikvision and Axis for CCTV and Paxton for Access Control.Required of the Applicant:

  • Intruder Alarms knowledge
  • CCTV knowledge
  • Fire Alarm knowledge
  • Access Control knowledge
    • Package:
  • Salary - £24k - £30k depending on experience
  • Car Allowance - £6k (Can be car or van, providing it is suitable to carry required tools and ladders)
  • Phone, Laptop & Tablet
  • Travel time - Not paid, however the engineers claim back business mileage each month through their expenses and claim additional tax benefit on business mileage each year from HMRC.
