As a Barclays Screening SRE Engineer, your role will be part of the SRE team (Sustainability & Reliability Engineering), you will be involved in Application Development as well as Support Management on the Customer/Payment Screening platforms. These useOracle OWS products or Fircosoft Payments Screening Products along with Unix and Oracle as database. You will be involved with automation, problem & incident management as well as implementation and support management role for Production. What will you be doing Leading hands on Application Support & management experience (problem and incident/ developing & implementing fixes) Independently analyzing & identifying repetitive or time consuming processes that can be automated Designing, developing and delivering innovative and tactical solutions Identifying and resolve problems, working closely with the onshore solutions managers You will be in charge of Automation & Development of strategic fixes for production critical related issues Delivering defect free solutions in live environment ensuring service stability What were looking for: Broad knowledge of DevOps Tools/ Technology such as: Git/Bitbucket, Nexus, Jenkins, Chef Proven experience working with Screening Tools Broad hands on experience with LINUX, TomCat, TWS Proven experience with DevOps tools - Jenkins, Nolio, GIT, Chef Skills that will help you in the role: Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management skills Broad knowledge of Cloud Technologies e.g. AWS Broad ITIL v3 Qualified - desirable/ Knowledge of IT Service Management processes - (incident, problem, change) Proven knowledge of a structured change environment, for example in Banking, financial services or with a Fintech Where will you be workingOur new state-of-the-art Campus, right in the heart of Glasgow is a hub of creative collaboration.
