Job Description

CAR-T Cell Therapy, Stem Cell Therapies, Award-Winning Immunology Biotech Your new companyRecognised as a world-leader in Gamma Delta T-cell therapies, our client is ambitious in improving patient health by developing advanced allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy products for the treatment of cancer. Having massively expanded over 5 global locations, with their lead CAR-T product currently conducting phase II/III clinical studies, a lot of exciting work is underway for their growing team in Glasgow!Your new role

  • You will be involved in performing cell culture of pluripotent cells, primary immune cells, generation and maintenance of established cell lines.
  • You will work independently and with the stem cell team to perform differentiation of pluripotent cells to various cell lineages, leading in the characterisation of differentiated cells by flow cytometry and qPCR.
What youll need to succeed
  • You will hold a Degree qualification (or equivalent commercial/ industrial experience) in stem cell/ cell biology (or in a related field).
  • You will have experience in handling human ES/iPS cells including differentiation towards haematopoietic/ mesodermal routes.
  • You will extensive experience in cell culture, cell-based assays and flow cytometry. You will have experience in molecular biology techniques (e.g. RNA isolation, qPCR).
