  • As the dedicated Territory Account Manager for Scotland & Ireland you will be responsible for selling my clients complete consumable and instrument portfolio of into to the Life Science Market
  • You will use your experience in the field to support your colleagues to drive the business to success on a country level
  • Grow and develop all existing and potential customers such as: Universities, Hospitals (NHS), Pharmaceutical and clinical laboratories etc
  • Deliver sales against quarterly targets report out
  • Report on pipeline and sales on a regular basis
  • Follow up on e-commerce leads and inbound leads and convert them into sales
  • Represent the business in account tabletop meetings, seminars etc and act as brand ambassador
  • Attend and facilitate exhibitions as and when required Maintain and increase face to face customer interaction with efficient territory planning
  • Gather customer intelligence and feedback to enable a pro-active participation in product enhancement and new product development
  • Ensure accurate management of CRM records (SFDC) within the territory
  • Ensure that product knowledge and customer communication is to the highest
  • Timely supply of product samples and quotations for customers
The requirements of the Territory Account Manager:
  • 2+ years sales experience as a Sales Specialist, Area Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, Sales Executive, Business Development Manager, Account Manager or similar role selling either consumables or instruments in the fields of of PCR, QPCR, Genomics,ELISA, Western Blotting, Cryostorage/Sample Management, Antibodies, Cell Lines, NGS or similar product areas
  • You will hold a minimum of a BSc or above in a biological subject such as Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Medical Science or associated field
  • You will have experience working to a target and are able to manage your time effectively to achieve the companys goals
  • You must be a determined, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who is able to convey technical information
  • Maintain excellent awareness of the laboratory marketplace including monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
  • Full right to work in the UK, and you must have a full driving licence
