Job Description

Sales & Marketing EngineerAn exciting position has become available for a full-time Sales & Marketing Engineer based in Glasgow G64 3HB. The successful candidate will earn £24,000-£27,000 depending on experience.The purpose of this role is twofold: Firstly, to grow the business within existing market sectors utilising digital marketing and communications. Secondly, to provide support to the senior management team in delivering their strategic objectives.Attention to detail and diligence are vital for the role, which will involve some technical aspects of engineering in a sales environment as well as problem-solving and out-of-the-box thinking . The quality and accuracy of your work is always more importantthan speed of output.Role Requirements

Role Responsibilities Marketing & Communications
  • Liaise with the senior management and the companys digital marketing provider to strategise marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the E-commerce section of the company website, maintaining prices and upload / remove products to and from the site when required.
  • Ensure the company website is aligned with the company ERP software system to maintain continuity.
  • Managing and scheduling the companys external communications, including social media content, PR content and blog content.
  • Provide high quality executive support to the Director and Senior Management team in delivering their strategic objectives, including in-depth research, report writing, organisation of materials.
  • Ensure important company software, such as the CRM, is up to date and well utilised throughout the business.
Sales Support
  • Provide technical sales support to customers on enquiries.
  • Manage orders from enquiry stage through to order completion.
  • Log and manage leads, opportunities, and projects.
  • Ensure documents prepared are in adherence to specifications and deadlines.
  • Work alongside, build rapport and develop relationships with both suppliers and customers.
