Job Description

As part of a new and exciting sales strategy, we are looking to recruit a Sales Executive/Trainee Sales Executive for a leading manufacturer and distributor who are based in Doncaster, South Yorkshire who have an immediate requirement in Scotland.Sales Executive Benefits:

  • Starting salary of £23k with ability to earn £40k+
  • Location: Scotland - Ideally you will be based in the Edinburgh, Glasgow or Dundee area
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
  • Company car and fuel card - no more than 6 points allowed for this
  • Phone and laptop
  • Holidays: 23 plus bank holidays

  • Ongoing training and development - required to stay in Doncaster for the first 1 - 2 weeks, then ongoing mentoring by the Sales Managers on the road
  • Sales Executive Apprenticeship are also available
Sales Executive Role:We are looking for a candidate who has the ability and drive to meet and exceed targets as well and become part of a strong and dedicated sales team.Sales experience is preferred but not essential as product, sales and admin training will be provided.Once trained the role will involve developing the core sectors including Builders Merchants, DIY Stores and Discount retailers, the Sales Executive will also identify possible opportunities within other markets such as Agricultural & industrial merchants,online retailers and garden centres.Sales Executive Criteria:

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Full UK Driving licence essential - (vehicle will be provided) - no more than 6 points allowed due to company insurance policy
  • Previous experience in sales is preferred but not
  • The role will require some nights away on territory - all expenses will be covered by the company
