Job Description

Retrofit Surveyor - Property and Housing - GlasgowClient DetailsRetrofit Surveyor - Property and Housing - GlasgowI am currently working with one of the leading Energy providers in the UK who are currently supporting Social Housing Schemes to ensure that all their properties are as energy efficient as possible.DescriptionRetrofit Surveyor - Property and Housing - Glasgow

  • Generating and complete customer contracts and assembling contract packs within a specific time period for customers across the UK
  • Supporting the Energy Company Obligation submission team
  • Assisting Commercial and Operations functions to ensure the same high level customer journey and customer expectations are met
  • Attending community engagement events and keeping a record of signed contracts/interested customers
  • Issuing approved literature to customers in coordination with local authorities and housing associations
  • Producing Energy Reports based on a properties currency, energy usage, and the energy potential of the property
  • Producing property Condition Report to assess the suitability of a property to receive retrofit investment and to complement any structural assessment deemed necessary
  • Producing Occupancy Evaluation Reports by reviewing previous energy bills and understanding the daily energy usage in the Building
  • Promoting the benefits of low-carbon retrofit to residents, local authority representatives and supply chain partners.
  • Assess all available information around building stock, its ownership and its current energy performance to identify target areas likely to have a higher density of early adopters of low-carbon technologies.
  • Provide a range of direct technical services to internal partners around the PAS 2035 standards as and when required
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date independent advice about low carbon retrofit options
  • Develop custom home retrofit plans which set out the steps that need to be taken to radically improve the performance of their home, with recommended order of works and outline of the likely costs and impacts
  • Keep up to date with technical and administrative developments relating to low carbon retrofit, including new funding streams, changing quality assurance requirements etc and ensure that all work carried out is consistent with standards applicable at thetime.

  • Be a strong communicator with the ability to tailor your approach to each individual customer
  • Have an understanding of public sector engagement
  • Be confident using different technology systems - we use Google suite here
  • Be comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload - youve got outstanding organisational/time management skills!
  • Be detail-oriented with a proactive, positive and solutions orientated approach - youre a natural problem solver.
