Please note these roles will be based between our two Sheltered Housing complexes as required.The CompanyBased in the north of Glasgow, Maryhill Housing has been established for over 40 years. We own over 3000 rented properties and provide a factoring service to over 700 units. We offer a rewarding work environment and as a valued employee you will have the opportunityto make a real difference to both our local community and to peoples lives.Job Purpose:We are looking for a temporary Retirement Housing Officer (3 months fixed term contract) who will provide a service to tenants living in Maryhill Housings Retirement Housing and contribute to the general housing management service to tenants in the complex.You will establish friendly relations with all tenants and encourage independence, signposting to other agencies where required. You will encourage tenants to participate in decisions which affect them, to advocate and actively promote choice for tenants intheir daily living.To be successful in the Retirement Housing Officer role, you will have experience working in a customer focused environment and supporting vulnerable customers. You will require excellent communication skills and have the ability to respond positively and flexiblyto change. You will strive to continuously improve our services; therefore you require having experience of liaising and negotiating with other agencies to access service or resources for our customers. You will also have an awareness of relevant housing legislation,as well as excellent IT skills for use on Microsoft Office packages and in-house systems.We are also looking for various Sessional staff to provide support to the Sheltered Housing complexes. These positions will require flexibility to provide cover as required which may include full days, half days and weekends.On OfferOne temporary full-time role for 35 hours a week. This will be worked between Monday - Friday with flexibility around hours. Please be advised there may be a requirement for some occasional evening working. This role comes with a salary banding of EVH GradeTAS 4 £24,112 - £25,044 (pro rata).In addition, you will receive an excellent benefits package, which includes 25 days annual leave (pro rata), 15 days public holiday (pro rata) and access to a contributory pension scheme.We are also looking for Sessional Staff to join our team.
