An opportunity has arisen for a Resource Manager (ideally site based) to join a transforming business that has been an integral part of shipbuilding on the River Clyde since 1903. Over the past few years, they have pushed the boundaries of innovation,particularly in the development of green propulsion technologiesfirst diesel-electric hybrid and then the liquefied natural gas.You will work broadly across the organisation to understand the needs of each crucial stage of the project. Understanding what skills will be required and when, the volumes and any factors that could change this information.You will need to work with operationalmanagement to plan, build and balance the core and contract skilled trades across all operational aspects of the site and review this against the quarterly manufacturing plan as well as managing the week to week variations in resource demand levels acrossthe site.As a Resource Manager, your responsibilities will include:
