We believe our continued success is due to great people.Do you want to join our team of top talent in an exciting and industry-leading organisation Read on!Position: Repair Centre TechnicianLocation: Glasgow, Head OfficeJob Type: Full time, Permanent - Monday to Friday, 39.5 hours per week, 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am to 4:30pm on FridaySalary: £20,760 to £25,200 per annumBenefits: 28 days annual leave increasing with length of service, plus 4 public holidays, attractive pension, medical cash-back system, and as much coffee as you can drink!Purpose of Role:As the Repair Centre Technician, you will repair, refurbish and prepare coffee machinery of all types for our customers across the UK and Ireland from our well-equipped repair centre in the Gorbals, Glasgow. As part of your in-house training, you will learnhow to master the initial range of Coffee Machine Equipment associated with Grade1. There are 3 Grades, with the opportunity to progress as you become fully trained and experienced. Each grade has more complex machinery to master, and is rewarded with a higherhourly rate. This role is ideal for someone with the relevant electrical / mechanical engineering certificate to start a career in a rewarding and fast-paced workshop environment.If you already have previous repair centre experience, you may be able to join at a higher entry grade based on your skills.Key Responsibilities: Refurbish machines in line with procedures Pass quality checks carried out by Technical and QA departments Accurately record all work carried out Prepare machine orders for despatch accurately to customer specification Meet all legal and health & safety requirements Report all accidents and hazards to a member of Production Management Perform job function to the highest standard Keep all parts of the workshop tidy, organised and in constant readiness for third-party auditsExperienceTo be considered for this opportunity it is essential that you have previous experience in a similar role such as in a repair centre or manufacturing environment, such as an apprenticeship placement or similar.Skills / KnowledgeYou will have a qualification or certificate in NC Electrical & Engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or equivalentYoull have a strong, working knowledge of Health & Safety standards within a fast-moving manufacturing environment, or be willing to learnPersonal Attributes Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and customer timeframes Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the team and the customer Punctual with a strong work ethic Resilience - able to respond professionally and courteously in difficult situations while remaining composed Personal motivation and enthusiasmApplicationIf this sounds like you, then you could be the right fit for us!
