We collect blood throughout the West of Scotland in a variety of environments and we are looking for a confident, dynamic, forward thinking nurse who can lead and effectively manage a large peripatetic team. You will require excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You must be self-motivated, proactive and an innovative individual with the ability to be flexible and react positively to on-going changing demands and priorities.Knowledge of blood collection processes would be advantageous as you will be required to undertake venepuncture and medical selection duties. You must also be able to demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development working within the competencies framework.The position is based in Dumfries as part of the West of Scotland Collection Team and travel throughout the West of Scotland is required.
