Become a part of it and apply for thisrole.This role will require you to support 8 services in the west of Scotland located in Prestwich, Ayrshire, Kilmarnock, East Kilbride, Hamilton and Dumfries & Galloway.Are you our next Regional Peripatetic Nurse Heres more about the role:

  • Provide a high quality peripatetic nursing service ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of nursing and care standards.
  • Provide Nursing responsibility for Care homes within the region that require additional Nursing support as required.
  • You will prepare and monitor residents care plans; supervise and participate in the delivery of all aspects of care to ensure that care is delivered to agreed quality standards and meets the needs of the individual.
  • Promote, monitor and maintain high standards of clinical / care practice and procedures to meet legislation and organisational standards and reflect best practice.
  • Carry out quality and risk assessments to ensure that services meet the needs of residents, clients and regulatory compliance, fulfil organisational aims and provide value for money for the business.
  • Manage the coordination, communication and maintenance of relationships with internal and external customers, identifying and dealing with any shortfalls in service delivery and ensuring that complaints are dealt with appropriately and escalated when necessary.
  • Take personal responsibility to remain clinically up to date.

  • You will be Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council
  • You will have experience of working in a clinical setting
  • Being able to communicate well is essential along with a flexible approach
  • You will also be kind and have a real genuine like for older people and their needs, ensuring we treat everyone with the respect and dignity they deserve
  • You will use a good Nursing Process to formulate initial Nursing Diagnosis by collecting data from subjective and objective information given and then prioritising and managing care
  • You will have experience of infection control, nutrition, moving and handling, wound care, phlebotomy and drug administration.
