Job Description

Regional Account Manager - ideally Glasgow area based

  • Regional Account Manager
  • Scotland and the North East and North West of England with some travel to Northern Ireland.
  • Basic Salary £34K with OTE up to £40K. (OTE is paid monthly)
  • Car allowance of £350 per month (Plus 24p per mile for business mileage)
  • Pension - Automatically enrolled in the Company Pension scheme 3 months after start date.
  • 25 Days Holiday (plus Bank Holidays)
  • Health Care (Vitality) - Following a successful probation period

Purpose of the role This field based role as Regional Account Manager would be covering the North East , North West of England , Scotland and Northern Ireland but ideally you would be located in Scotland in either G, ML, KA, DG, CA, LA postcocodes so around Glasgow and surrounds. This is working for my client who are experts in the compliance industry; focussing mainly on the Motor Trade and Travel . They have one of the UKs largest regulatory networks with many retail sites across the UK benefiting from a range of Finance and Insuranceservices.By providing Appointed Representative status, they shoulder the burden of compliance ( of being Directly Authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) so their customers can concentrate on running their day to day businessesThey ensure that they stay ahead of our competitors by being at the forefront of technical innovation and providing a great user experience.   • Purpose of the role
Reporting to the Head of Oversight the purpose of the role is to :
  • Conduct oversight audits at network members on a risk-based approach,
  • producing detailed reports based on the findings and setting appropriate action plans to mitigate any risks.
  • To effectively manage and support both existing and new Network Members within a given geographic area, providing a comprehensive first-class account management service.
  • To assist Network Members in compliance and to help maximise profit opportunities by providing high quality training on sales processes, company systems and other key regulatory areas
  • To generate income from existing network members by promoting additional services.
