  • To develop and maintain key strategic relationships with management and operational teams to ensure quality is embedded in day-to-day business processes and ways of working.

  • To support curriculum development across all programmes.

  • To provide robust and regular quality assurance across a wide range of programmes, including English and maths, following internal Quality Assurance strategy, and Awarding organisation requirements.

  • To contribute to the annual Self-Assessment process and outputs to identify areas of improvement and development to drive key change initiatives.
  • To contribute to ensuring that effective policies & processes are in place, fit for purpose in line with regulatory requirements and internal strategy and consistently applied across all teams.

  • To manage the coordination/observation of learner journey key processes to include and inform CPD for all delivery staff.
Trusted
  • To manage the internal and external assurance of the learner and customer experience including supporting inspections (Ofsted, SDS, ETI, Estyn) and Matrix inspections.
Brief person specificationEssential Qualifications
  • Grade A-C GCSE in English and Maths or equivalent
  • Teaching Certificate e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed or Equivalent
  • Level 2 Key/Functional Skills or Equivalent
Desirable Qualifications
  • Assessors Award or Equivalent
  • IQA Award or Equivalent
  • Level 3 Coaching and Mentoring Qualification
Skills and experience
  • Experience of inspection compliant activities
  • Experience of working in an educational environment
  • Experience of good service delivery including development, design and implementation and quality improvement
  • Experience of quality improvement techniques and cycles
  • Experience of Data/MI analysis linked to business improvement
  • Experience of Driving rapid transformation / business improvement change in organisations
  • Experience of staff development
  • Experience of planning and project management
  • Experience at communicating at all levels including good written communication and drafting skills
  • Hold a clean driving license with access to a vehicle or have the ability to travel.
