Job Description

Python DeveloperLocation: Leeds with £70-80k SalaryOverviewOur client is a FTSE 250 global leader in IT services generating over £12 billion as a consulting practice with a rich client portfolio. Joining this dynamic team as a Python Developer will provide you with the opportunity on working with digital government cliental shaping the future of their digital environment on projects that have major impact to society.As a Python Developer you will:

  • Be proactive in selecting the appropriate software development tools and methods
  • Develop well engineered outcomes to agreed standards
  • Self-review own work and that of their colleagues
  • Work within a variety of disciplines from: Deigning, coding, verifying, Testing, documenting and amending programmes and integration software services.
  • Collaboratively work within an agile team in tackling an array of technical issues
The Successful Python Developer skillset will be:
  • A minimum of 5 years commercial experience using Python
  • Experience using Linux and Ubuntu
  • A seasoned backend developer experienced with large request volumes or data processing pipelines
  • Experience with docker and cloud infrastructure such as AWS
  • Proficient in using tools for testing, build and deployment pipelines
  • Sound understanding of logging, monitoring and alerting tools
