Job Description

Pertempsare working with a leading company based in the Glasgow area who are looking to add to their Purchasing team on a long term contract. Ideally you will have a some experience working in a Purchasing department. Our client is operating on a 1week in the office and 1 week at home rotation right now.Reporting to the Purchasing Group Leaders, thePurchasing Assistant, will be responsible for the provision of administrative support to the Purchasing Team.The main duties of this role include:

  • Data entry, order management and expedition of orders in Aurora purchasingsystem
  • Spreadsheet data entry and review
  • Liaise with other business units anddepartments
  • Day to day assistance for the Purchasing Group.
  • Housekeeping of the Aurora purchasing system.
  • Minute taking
Candidate Requirements:The successful candidate will have previous relevant experience within an administrative role, preferably within a Purchasing environment. You will becompetent in Microsoft Office, specifically Exceland will haveexcellent organisational, interpersonal andcommunication skills.
