Job Description

Large growing organisation based just outside Glasgow City Centre have a new requirement for a Purchase Ledger Assistant. If you have had previous experience working in a busy office environment and have great attention to detail this could bethe role for you. Salary circa £20k.Responsibilities

  • Match, batch, code and process invoices
  • Monthly Credit Card expense posting
  • Rent, Rates and Utility expenditure
  • Run check weekly creditor reports
  • Reconcile invoices and deal with queries/discrepancies for suppliers
  • To assist with the administration of Purchase Orders
  • Weekly review and resolution of invoices held for query
  • Ensuring that all accounts are reconciled with statements promptly and before month end closedown
  • Setting up of supplier payment runs and provide remittances advices
  • Ensuring all capital costs are through ledgers on Monthly basis
  • Preparing Intercompany transactions through all ledgers
Skills & Experience
  • The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of experience within a Purchase Ledger capacity, ideally have experience within the Retail Industry or Property Management
  • Be organised and self-motivated
  • Possess excellent numeracy and communication skills
  • A team player
  • Good Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Enjoys prioritising multiple tasks and duties efficiently
  • Comfortable performing both data input and higher-level reporting
