Job Description

Are you a Commercial Property Manager and keen to expand your client portfolioOur client is a leading commercial real estate services brand, who provide a full range of services to real estate occupiers, developers and investors on a local, national and international basis.Whilst in this role you will carry out many of the traditional property management responsibilities, such as lease events, service charge forecasting, and implementation of asset management initiatives; you will have direct contact with clients and developingand maintaining relationships with them will be imperative to your role.Key Role Accountabilities in more detail include:Portfolio Management:

  • Overseeing single or multiple investments for clients to ensure they meet financial objectives.
  • Performing risk assessments for specific investments and make decisions that seeks to improve profitability.
Property Maintenance:
  • Managing contracts, maintenance and services for allocated premises including commercial office space and retail parks.
  • Carrying out property inspections, attend meetings and carry out actions as required.
  • Raise rent demands and ensure credit control targets are met.
  • Review service charge cash flow and budgets.
  • Monitoring compliance and regulation changes and assisting in implementing practices.
  • Legal lease documentation instruction, conducting reviews, negotiations and processing.
  • Management of leases ensuring data is accurately maintained.
  • Conducting viewings and marketing of properties.
Skills, knowledge & experience required to be shortlisted for the role:
  • Previous commercial property management experience is essential albeit we are able to consider candidate with only a few years experience who are looking to move into a management role.
  • MRICS is beneficial, but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of service charges.
  • Lease structure knowledge would be advantageous.
  • Great organisational and diary management skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Awareness of commercial property management processes and legislation.
  • A full clean driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential to the role.
