Job Description

JC74 - Property InspectorLocation – GlasgowSalary – £Competitive DOEOverview:First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our client to recruit a Property Inspector to join their team in Glasgow. Our client is looking to recruit a well organised, proactive Property Inspector (factoring), to add to their growing Property Management department. This role within my clients management team presents an opportunity to join their vibrant and dynamic business.This role demands a dynamic pace, requiring the successful candidate to operate independently, demonstrate initiative, and maintain exceptional organisational skills. Moreover, my client highly value candidates who possess a keen interest in property management,aiming to elevate their professional career. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out development visits.
  • Recording findings on iPad.
  • Obtaining meter electrical meter reads.
  • Identifying required repairs (both reactive and proactive).
  • Liaising with contractors.
  • Meeting with owners and assisting them with any queries they may have.
  • Assessing completed repairs.
  • Attending development visits with Residents Committees.
  • Communicating effectively with the Associate Directors.
Skills and Experience:
  • Ability to use initiative and prioritise workload.
  • An interest in property management/maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Very strong organisational skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Competent and confident using iPad apps.
  • Ex-mil candidates are encouraged.
