Job Description Our Graduate Development Programme is an exciting opportunity for motivated, forward thinking graduates to work on a range of innovative projects supporting the Council’s vision - a world class city with a thriving and inclusive economy where everyone can flourish and benefit from the city’s success.With the ability to analyse and problem solve issues, you’ll work on, and identify opportunities to drive forward key HR projects. Effective communication skills and the ability to work under pressure is a must, as well as the ability to interact with colleagues across all levels and external partners. Based in our Corporate Human Resources Team you’ll be involved in delivering research and project based activities in areas of Equalities, Health & Wellbeing, Workforce Planning & Talent Management as well as supporting delivery of the Graduate Development Programme. Knowledge of HR, particularly Equalities and Workforce Planning and of the current pressures driving change within the public sector would be an advantage, although not essential.During the two year programme you’ll develop a range of skills in project management, business change, innovative thinking and stakeholder engagement with opportunities to build strong relationships and enhance your professional networks. You’ll receive a package of training including management skills and training relevant to your projects which could include Lean SixSigma, Project Management, Agile, Design, Innovation, Data Analysis, EFQM, and Business Agility.
